As the massive surge continues in neighboring India, health groups warn that a similar situation could unfold in Nepal, Scenes in India of pyres and people queuing outside hospitals are repeated in Nepal as hospitals run out of oxygen and patients are turned away.

It was all of the uncertainties that could hardly be imagined that struck again by the same virus with new to triple mutant causing Fatal death. The certain increase in the virus could lead the System to have complete control over it, and by its failure the cost today is immense!!

My heart cries when I saw these images, death is a natural process agreed that what sort of disaster it is that even in the sad demise of loved ones our's the bury of the dead is imparted away from the family.

Today the country is in great danger, shortage of oxygen, no hospitals bed for any treatments, Not even PPE, and the necessary equipment to lool over the victims.

A FIGHT FOR THE HUNGER AND THE CORONA

  • Of the people living in Nepal, 25 percent are living below the poverty line, on 50 cents per day. This makes Nepal one of the poorest countries in the world. Rates of disease, malnutrition, and child mortality are high.
  • Around 5 million people in Nepal are undernourished. This is in part caused by high food prices and limited access in rural areas to farming. High prices of food make it unaffordable for people in poverty which drives hunger.
  • A lack of advanced farming methods makes it hard for progress against poverty in Nepal to be made. Over 85 percent of the people in Nepal rely on agriculture as the main form of sustenance. However, outdated methods are slowing the farming pace. The Government of Nepal has also not provided proper infrastructure to farmers.
  • Unemployment and underemployment significantly contribute to poverty rates in Nepal. In 2016, the unemployment rate was around 3.4 percent. Lack of well-paying jobs is a major contributor to poverty.

Nepal is lagging behind even undeveloped world when it comes to poverty. However, not all hope is lost. Efforts of volunteers and non-profit organizations have the potential to make a big difference, especially regarding the recent economic upturn.

Nepal has only 1,595 ICU beds and 480 ventilators for its almost 30 million people, and the country has only 0.7 doctors per 100,000 according to the report. The scarcity of oxygen and medical kits is another great problem, which causes the people mostly the low-income group suffers the most. The volunteer programs and support of ING0's, NGO's and neighboring countries, NRN and established people are offering their kindness in such devastation period but still the poor are away from all sort of medication, and losing their life at no cost !!

"GREAT SALUTE FROM HEART TO ALL THE DOCTORS, NURSES AND ALL THE HEALTH WORKERS WHO HAVE PUT THEIR LIFE IN DANGER TO FOUGHT THE PANDEMIC AND TO SAVE THE HUMAN LIFE"; REAL GOD IN KALIYOG( A MODERN TIME PERIOD)

Tired after long hours of work in a frontline, letting their life in danger to save the ones'.

Doctors along with the health workers have been at the forefront of the battle against COVID-19. They are the only source of hope and cure for the patients and family afflicted by this contagious disease.n this pandemic situation, many doctors and health workers are working longer than usual hours. Once healthcare personnel put on the protective gown and mask, they have to work for several hours without drinking water or taking a restroom break as the protective wares have to be discarded after each use. Many healthcare workers have isolated themselves from their families for a long time in a fear of infecting them. Frontline workers’ risk of COVID-19 infection is made worst by the deficiency of personal protective equipment (PPE). Many hospitals are not providing adequate PPE’s to the staff, thus many are buying protective gear at their own cost.7
